Hanna Gabriel was born and grew up in Costa Rica. She is the daughter of Yolanda Valle Mareno and Leslie Gabriel Binns. Her father was a promising boxer who qualified for the Olympic Games in Moscow in 1980. Hanna has one brother named Windell, who is a footballer and participated in the Costa Rican Primera Division.
